Children and Families Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead our Children and Families Team in Gloucestershire County Council. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of social workers to deliver statutory duties and best practice
- Develop and implement a team plan in line with Children's Services strategic objectives
- Provide management oversight on all cases, ensuring a clear understanding of risk
- Contribute to the development of our quality assurance framework
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure effective support and protection for vulnerable children and young people
- Social Work England registration
- Recognised qualification in Social Work
- Completed ASYE year (if qualified after 2012)
- Full driving licence and willingness to drive
- DBS clearance
- Competitive salary range £49,498-£51,515 per annum
- Welcome payment of £5,000
