We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and being a clinical role model to our 24-hour inpatient team.

You will act on behalf of and deputise for the manager in their absence, providing quality evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental health needs and their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide effective leadership and clinical guidance to the team
  2. Supervise and appraise staff to ensure high-quality care
  3. Manage rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
  4. Develop and maintain clinical standards in accordance with local and national priorities
  5. Collaborate with Matron to set and audit clinical standards
