As a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing the nursing team, providing leadership and mentoring to junior staff, and acting as a positive role model for the service and the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and direct the nursing team with support and guidance from the Ward Manager.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Act as a positive role model for the service and the organisation, reflecting the philosophy and values of the service.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Registration as a Mental Health Nurse (part 3 or 13).
- Eating Disorder experience, preferably in an acute inpatient unit.
