Role Overview

The Estate Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in maintaining precise, timely, and well-regulated financial records for the London property portfolio. You will be tasked with delivering reports on various assets within the London Estate, offering critical insights to senior management for strategic decision-making. This position provides the chance to engage in a vibrant multi-sector property organization as part of a high-achieving team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monthly reporting and management oversight on a year-to-date basis
  • Crafting insightful analyses of financial outcomes
  • Fostering relationships with Asset Managers and Surveyors
  • Conducting reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensuring financial controls
  • Preparing subsidiary statutory financial statements and coordinating with auditors
  • Assisting in analyses related to property movements
  • Delivering ad hoc reports to support decision-making processes
  • Identifying enhancements for accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Staying informed about updates in accounting standards

Key Collaborations

  • Engage with the UK Reporting Manager and Senior Management Accountant
  • Collaborate closely with the finance business partnering team
  • Coordinate with Asset Managers and Surveyors

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Meticulous with a strong focus on detail
  • Experience handling extensive data sets

  • Interest in the real estate sector
  • Post-qualification experience in a corporate environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality financial reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
