Ferrovial Construction is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, working closely with our experienced team to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out safety inspections and ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations.
- Undertake as-built surveys and present results in a format suitable for project records.
- Establish and maintain secondary control on the project, checking dimension design data and raising technical queries to eliminate delays.
- Manage survey equipment, ensuring it is suitable for the works and in calibration.
- Produce Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and implement quality control checks.
- Collate and file quality records for potential inclusion in quality assurance documentation.
- Interpret and abstract construction information from drawings and specifications, providing clear and understandable information to supervisors and operatives.
- Carry out on-site testing of materials, products, plant, and systems as required.
- Produce sketches and drawings to clarify methods and construction sequences.
- Understand and have a good command of temporary works and permits to load.
- Effective communication of technical information to the workforce and liaison with functions/support services within the project team.
