About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Ferrovial Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management of our construction sites to ensure successful project delivery, while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction sites to achieve project objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure commercial performance of contracts is maximised
  • Deliver projects successfully, safely, and without environmental incidents
  • Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and surveying teams to ensure project completion in a safe and timely manner
  • Develop and implement project plans, management plans, and procurement schedules in line with company procedures
  • Interface with clients to deliver end products that meet their expectations
  • Monitor and control costs to maximise project value
  • Maintain accurate site diaries and records
  • Identify and highlight value engineering opportunities
  • Produce high-quality reports for clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Successful experience in construction management, specifically in civil engineering and/or utilities
  • Demonstrated application of commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Experience working in a cost-conscious environment
  • Good people management and stakeholder management skills
  • Relationship building with external parties is critical
  • Significant civil engineering technology knowledge and experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy and CSCS card
