About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance Transformation team at Ocado Retail Ltd. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Finance change programme and Finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accelerate Month End Close (MEC) by 3 days within the next 6 months
  • Rationalise MEC journals to eliminate, standardise, simplify and automate
  • Support BAU teams to implement these initiatives and take ownership of delivering specific initiatives
  • Improve the accuracy, robustness, intelligence and flexibility of cashflow forecasting outputs across Ocado Retail
  • Work closely with heads of Finance to implement previously identified opportunities to optimise cash efficiency
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or an exceptional part-qualified candidate
  • Exceptional problem solver with demonstrable experience of transforming sub-optimal processes
  • Proactive, ambitious, self-motivated individual who derives purpose and motivation from making an impact within tight timelines
  • Great communicator who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders across Finance
  • Ability to simplify complexity and convert complex problem statements into simple, focused and clear solutions
