About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating service users with complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose service users' health needs, developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and review medication, ensuring it is appropriate and effective for each service user's needs.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, using alternative methods to overcome barriers to communication.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous records of consultations, adhering to legislation and organisational policies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures.
About You:

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist or registered nurse with experience in substance misuse treatment. You will have a strong understanding of harm reduction and health promotion interventions, as well as the ability to assess and recovery plan service users.

  • Qualified pharmacist or registered nurse with current registration and relevant experience.
  • Experience of working in substance misuse treatment, with a strong understanding of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service users and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
