About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Program Manager to join our team at Parallel Wireless, Inc. in the UK. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of hardware-related elements of our development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the UK development team with HW sourcing during the design phase, covering prototype and production deliveries.
  • Responsible for supporting the design and development of hardware components, including enclosures and housing, for a range of RF and Digital modules.
  • Responsible for supporting the design and development of complete product hardware enclosures.
  • Responsible for integrating multiple modules into complete product hardware enclosures, physical integration, and cabling.
  • Responsible for key assigned milestone deliveries.
  • Support collective working to agreed processes, including design inputs, outputs, module/product build and testing, ensuring process and documentation guidelines are followed.
  • Interfacing with local UK suppliers for development and prototype material supply.
  • Ensure efficient collaborative working with other functions in the research, development, and production teams.
Requirements
  • Experience of electronics and RF packaging techniques required to build products mounted at the base and on top of radio base station masts.
  • Experienced in working to deliver products that meet key environmental demands in the areas of EMC, humidity, operating temperature, IP rating, max wind speed, mounting options, vibrations/shock, and defined MTBF.
  • Knowledge of RF and Digital product development and production techniques and best practices, including PCB, enclosure, and interface design.
  • Previous experience in the domains of packaging RF power amplifiers, filters, digital signal processing boards, power supplies, and an advantage.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of design for sheet metal fab and high-pressure casting design for production, CNC machining, extrusion techniques, and cable design for digital and RF environments.
Qualifications
  • BSC/MSc in Physics/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
