Job Title: Cost Manager, Bedford

Design Build Search is working with a leading Irish retail company to expand their Electric Vehicle division in Ireland, the UK, and the US. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with pre-contract and commercial experience to join our UK office.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be a highly driven, adaptable, and confident individual who can thrive in a rapidly changing organisation. They will adopt a hands-on approach to their role, reporting directly to the Head of Construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the tender/bid process from initial documentation to analysis and reporting.
  2. Prepare and administer contract documentation throughout each project life cycle.
  3. Support programme management through proactive contract administration.
Requirements:
  • Degree or comparable experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Experience in both pre and post-contract cost management and procurement.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
