About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in supporting individuals with mental health needs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to help individuals achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence and resilience.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working collaboratively with individuals, carers, and other professionals.
  • Visit individuals in their own homes or community locations, providing flexible and responsive support.
  • Work with individuals to identify and address real-life problems, such as housing, finance, and access to services.
  • Provide informal family support and work with carers to promote their well-being.
  • Manage your own caseload, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely interventions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in mental health, ideally in an outreach setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and carers.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full driving license with business insurance, for transporting service users and carers.
