European Gas Analyst

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Natural Gas Analyst to join our research team at Energy Aspects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data models, gathering information from market contacts, and providing forward-looking views on the European gas market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve our European proprietary supply-demand models to provide accurate and reliable market insights.
- Sources relevant information to support our data models and market views.
- Contribute to the team's market views by analyzing market trends and providing insightful analysis.
- Write high-quality analysis reports to a high standard of written English.
- Expand our network of contacts to exchange market information and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Presents to clients and prospects to communicate our market views and analysis.
Requirements:
- Strong track record of quantitative and qualitative analysis in the energy market.
- Keen interest in energy markets and a deep understanding of the European gas market.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data modeling and analysis.
- Excellent written English skills to communicate complex analysis to clients and stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
- Econometric and statistical modeling experience to support our data models.
- Experience analyzing the gas market to provide in-depth market insights.
- Good presenting skills to communicate our market views to clients and stakeholders.
- Technical/data analysis skills such as Python, R, or Eviews to support our data models.
- Fluency in some European languages to communicate with international clients and stakeholders.
