Position Overview - Academic Support Coordinator

Role Type: Temporary with potential for permanence

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Compensation: FTE £27,200 - £29,200 (Actual £23,365 - £25,083)

Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a secondary educational institution seeking to appoint an Academic Support Coordinator to enhance their dedicated pastoral team. In this pivotal role, you will assist a Head of Year in overseeing all aspects of pastoral care for a specific year group. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored support for students with unique intervention requirements.
  • Monitoring attendance and implementing strategies to improve student engagement.
  • Fostering a positive learning environment within the designated year group.

You will serve as the primary contact for students and their families, offering guidance and support through early intervention initiatives.
