We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at Community Integrated Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live their best lives.
Our ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in learning disabilities and autism. You will be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues. We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods.
You will need to be reliable and very motivated with a genuine passion for what you do. You will need to be willing and enthusiastic, always striving to go above and beyond. We need you to understand our compliance with contracts and CQC and help us reach the "Outstanding" rating. You will need to commit to being totally personalised in all that you do.
You will be supporting individuals who enjoy having their own space and routine. You will need to think outside of the box and access a variety of community facilities and person-centred activities. You will need to communicate in a positive and honest way, using communication aids that the individual understands, mainly via basic Makaton or on their iPad.
