About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Advance. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, such as medication administration, personal care, and meal preparation
  • Accompanying individuals to medical appointments and social activities
  • Assisting with independent skills, such as cooking and cleaning
  • Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
