Job Title: Contract Director

Hyflex Roofing is seeking a highly skilled Contract Director to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization and management of contracts to ensure quality, safety, and programme objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and control directly employed and sub-contract labour to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare and approve timesheets and sub-contract labour invoices to ensure accurate payment and compliance.
  • Maintain health and safety standards on sites, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Assess tasks to produce, amend, or add to Method Statements and Risk Assessments as required.
  • Ensure Safe Starts/Finishes, Hot Works Permits, and Gas Torch Permits are carried out daily as required on all projects.
  • Coordinate plant, craneage, materials, labour, and sub-contractors to meet programme requirements.
  • Check quality to ensure work conforms to specification and drawings.
  • Monitor project costs against estimated/projected budget to ensure financial control.
  • Monitor materials on site, organizing procurement and call-offs with the office.
  • Coordinate deliveries with Main Contractors on-site systems.
  • Attend meetings with the Main Contractor as required.
  • Keep paperwork records for Quality Assurance.
  • Attend Company safety meetings and training.
  • Give weekly Toolbox Talks to labour and sub-contractors.
Requirements:
  • Articulate and numerate with competence in adaptability, business awareness, detail handling, initiative, planning, and organizing.
  • CSCS Black card holder.
  • Experience in the building and construction industry is essential.
  • SMSTS qualification.
