About the Role:

The Facilities Officer will play a key role in maintaining top-notch office environments for Torus Group. This is a permanent role based in Warrington with occasional travel to other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Facilities Manager: Assist in maintaining office environments, ensuring they are safe, modern, and efficient.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Organize maintenance, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and support office renovations and moves.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, communication skills, and experience managing contracts.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety compliance, conduct safety checks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Asset Management: Manage consumable orders, seasonal tasks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate office projects, manage budgets, and schedule tasks using the Asset Management System.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare reports, verify certifications, manage costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Facilities Management or equivalent, or willingness to work towards with relevant experience.
  • Experience: Experience in a facilities or asset management position within a large, multi-office organization at a similar level.
  • Skills: Strong customer service, communication skills, and experience managing contracts. Knowledge of operational delivery and assurance requirements.
  • Personal Qualities: Commitment to health and safety, high levels of IT literacy, and ability to work in a team environment.
