Job Description

At Gilbert Meher, we're committed to delivering high-quality care services for adults and children with Learning Disabilities and Autism. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee our properties and ensure seamless maintenance operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing maintenance plans, leading a team of maintenance professionals, and collaborating with the operations team to set and manage yearly maintenance budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to address regular, emergency, and compliance needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team, ensuring they adhere to safety standards and best practices.
  • Project Management: Manage small projects, working with external contractors to enhance our properties and improve operational efficiency.
  • Budgeting: Collaborate with the operations team to establish and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Quality Control: Regularly inspect and verify that all maintenance work meets our high standards.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with at least 3 years of experience in facilities management, project management, or a related field. Ideal candidates will have experience managing multiple sites, a solid understanding of building surveying, and proficiency in using Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) and office software.
