Surgical Veterinary Nurse Specialist

Location: Southfields Veterinary Specialists

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours/week

Salary: From £28,000, depending on experience

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging methods, including fluoroscopy and portable x-rays
  • Execute duties as both circulating and scrub nurse
  • Administer nursing care and prepare patients for surgical procedures
  • Ensure the maintenance and preparation of sterile supplies
  • Assist fellow team members during surgical operations
  • Oversee infection control measures
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments
  • Administer anesthesia and sedation as required
  • Provide exceptional care to all patients
