We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Exotics Service Team at Southfields Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to a wide range of exotic patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to exotic patients, including birds, domestic fowl, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, arthropods, fish, and zoo animals.
- Work closely with our Exotics Service Team Leader to establish, implement, and evolve working processes in this growing discipline.
- Liaise with all disciplines to facilitate the highest standard of patient care through effective communication from admission to discharge.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of exotic species nursing, including advanced diagnostic imaging, in-house radiotherapy treatment, and operating theatres.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a minimum of 1-year post-registration experience.
- Experience of working with a range of exotic pets.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Maintain a professional and caring approach in all aspects of your work.
- Provide evidence of your Right to Work in the UK.
