About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Southfields Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior imaging nurses, deputy nurse managers, and imaging radiologists to ensure seamless communication and coordination of diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Assist with and perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasonography, radiography, and fluoroscopy.
  • Manage the daily operational and organizational duties of our picture archiving communication system.
  • Provide general registered nursing duties, including overseeing all aspects of radiation within the department.
  • Contribute to a weekend and Bank Holiday rota, working a variety of shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
