Rate: £140 per day via umbrella
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-user devices, including hardware and software issues.
- Manage and support Windows 10/11 environments and related software and applications.
- Support and troubleshoot mobile devices, particularly BlackBerry and iPhones.
- Build, configure, replace, and troubleshoot EUC (End User Computing) hardware components.
- Perform data backup and recovery tasks.
- Work within virtual, MDM (Mobile Device Management), and VPN environments.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure clear, effective communication with end users.
- Adhere to ITIL processes and work within an ITIL environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of IT principles such as Networks, Hardware, and Domains.
- Proficient in leading software packages, including MS Office and Lotus Notes.
- Experience in troubleshooting end-user device hardware and software.
- Familiarity with data backup techniques and virtual environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM is advantageous.
- Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work logically, analytically, and independently.
- Strong time management, record-keeping, and focus on quality work.
Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ and MCP/MCSE certifications are desirable.
- DELL certification is desirable.
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience working in an ITIL environment is beneficial.
