Salary: £25k basic plus uncapped commission (£35k OTE realistically year 1, growing significantly in year 2)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our global research and insights organisation based in St Albans. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  3. Collaborate with our research and insights team to develop and deliver high-quality research solutions
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying new business opportunities and areas for growth
  5. Meet and exceed sales targets, working closely with our sales team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  1. Proven sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results
  4. Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for sales and business development
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively
