About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events Manager to join our team at Oliver Wyman. As an integral part of our Global Events Team, you will be responsible for leading internal and client events across Europe, as well as developing and implementing a strategic event program for the UKI market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Develop and implement an annual event plan for the UKI Market, including events such as conferences, networking events, and corporate hospitality.
  • Logistics and Budget Management: Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue contracting, travel management, and budgeting.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of event planners and coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships across multiple services, including procurement and contract negotiation.
  • Event Design and Innovation: Implement key innovation and trends in the industry to create compelling event designs and continually improve standards in our events offering.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 7 years of international event management experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale events.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, strong experience with meeting management software and technology platforms, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
