Job Overview

Position: Lead Electrical Systems Engineer – Power Systems

Location: Various locations with flexible working options available

Compensation: Competitive salary package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing technical specifications and assisting in the evaluation and awarding of contracts
  • Collaborating with external vendors and clients to ensure project alignment
  • Adhering to design lifecycle management to guarantee equipment delivery meets specifications
  • Offering technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders regarding power systems
  • Creating detailed technical reports, calculations, and presentations to effectively convey findings and recommendations

Required Qualifications:

Essential

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience as a power systems engineer
  • Familiarity with high power, medium voltage power electronics, machines, and drives
  • Understanding of power systems, including conversion, distribution, and generation
  • Experience working within engineering roles adhering to industry codes and standards
  • Experience with complex design programs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

About the Electrical Equipment Team:

Joining the Electrical Equipment Team means engaging in the specification and tendering processes for equipment within the Electrical Power System. You will oversee the technical aspects of contracts through various design review stages, collaborating closely with external suppliers to uphold the engineering excellence standards necessary for delivering advanced solutions.
