Customer Service Associate

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate to deliver exceptional service for a prominent charitable organization.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Audience Engagement team, which manages various public initiatives, volunteer programs, visitor services, retail operations, educational activities, and interpretive services. This position offers a diverse and hands-on experience.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position requiring 25 hours of work per week.
Key Duties:
- Maintain optimal stock levels in the retail space and ensure adherence to visual merchandising and cleanliness standards.
- Provide coverage for the Retail Manager during their absence.
- Assist in fulfilling online sales orders.
- Support 'Pop Up' retail opportunities during events and outreach activities.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe shopping environment.
Post Office Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage for the Post Office Supervisor by operating the automated Horizon system, with training provided.
- Advise customers on Post Office products and services while ensuring compliance with all relevant protocols.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Utilize retail point of sale systems and online shop platforms effectively.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in the heritage or museum sector, or within visitor attractions, is advantageous but not mandatory.
Please note that this role requires weekend availability.
