Position Overview:
Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Outreach Officer to join our team, focusing on enhancing community engagement and recruitment initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

As an Outreach Officer, your primary duties will include:

  • Identifying and expanding recruitment opportunities within the organization, particularly targeting under-represented and minority communities.
  • Conducting thorough analyses of workforce data to pinpoint representation gaps and researching barriers to recruitment and retention.
  • Designing and executing positive action initiatives tailored to community needs, such as mentoring programs and awareness events.
  • Aligning outreach activities with strategic plans to ensure effective workforce representation and transformation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with community organizations to promote inclusive recruitment.
  • Collaborating with educational institutions and youth services to foster a positive perception of the organization.
  • Supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process to enhance engagement with diverse groups.
  • Representing the organization at community events and job fairs to attract a diverse applicant pool.
  • Working closely with internal support networks to address key community concerns.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, or substantial experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in community engagement and recruitment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong project management skills, from conception to evaluation.
  • Ability to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Excellent presentation skills for delivering sessions to potential candidates and stakeholders.
  • Welsh language proficiency at Level 1 is essential; Level 4 is preferred.
