Position Overview

We are seeking a Programme Manager to become an integral part of our Programme Management Team. This role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at delivering aviation training devices to clients globally. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects, ranging from the design and construction of new Full Flight Simulators to implementing complex engineering modifications on existing devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of all projects, adhering to scope and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, conducting financial analyses to meet fiscal targets.
  • Develop detailed project schedules to monitor progress and resource allocation.
  • Oversee project changes while maintaining baseline documentation, including WBS, schedules, risk registers, and management plans.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to measure project performance.
  • Communicate project status to senior management.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly clients.
  • Manage risks and opportunities effectively.
  • Create comprehensive project plans for client and team visibility.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to balance detailed project aspects with broader strategic objectives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Project Management Professional certification (APM, PMI, MSP, PRINCE II) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally within the Aviation or Defense sectors.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Proactive communication skills with all project stakeholders.
