Role Summary:

This position emphasizes the importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in fostering resilient enterprises and assets that yield sustainable value for stakeholders.

The primary focus of this role is to enhance the quality and coverage of ESG data, facilitate the decarbonization of real estate, and optimize compliance with regulatory frameworks. The successful candidate will bring expertise in ESG strategy and reporting to aid in the implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Real Estate ESG team and other relevant departments to formulate a comprehensive CSRD implementation strategy, ensuring compliance is achieved efficiently.
  • Assist portfolio companies in establishing consistent disclosure requirements across various asset classes, including conducting gap analyses and setting up data collection systems.
  • Create standardized templates and guidance documents to aid portfolio companies in addressing qualitative requirements, such as climate change transition plans.
  • Develop a monitoring tool to track CSRD compliance progress across all applicable entities.
  • Design resources and training materials to enhance understanding and skills related to CSRD.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ESG reporting, preferably within a consulting environment.
  • A solid understanding of the Real Estate investment landscape.
  • Comfort with a broad European scope.
  • In-depth knowledge of CSRD, including ESRS standards, topics, and disclosure requirements, along with related regulations such as EU Taxonomy and SFDR.
