About ESG Flo
ESG Flo is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Consultant with over 2 years of expertise in ESG Reporting, particularly in relation to CSRD. This role involves close collaboration with our Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to spearhead ESG initiatives, including CSRD gap assessments and the creation of CSRD-compliant reports. You will also co-design features for our SaaS platform and serve as a trusted sustainability advisor for our clients.

At ESG Flo, we aim to simplify the process of ESG data collection and reporting, making it efficient and enjoyable. We empower sustainability teams to focus on creating significant impacts in Environmental, Social, and Governance areas, rather than getting overwhelmed by reporting obligations.
Your Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will guide clients on their sustainability journeys. For potential clients, you will provide subject matter expertise in sustainability reporting and help identify how ESG Flo can best assist them. For existing clients, you will lead consulting projects such as Double Materiality Assessments, CSRD Gap Assessments, CSRD report writing, Science-Based Target Setting, and Scope 3 Emissions Calculations.
Specific Duties Include:
- Lead Consulting Projects:
- Facilitate workshops and assist clients in navigating their compliance journey towards CSRD, including writing reports as needed.
- Conduct workshops, analyze survey results, and perform interviews to develop double materiality assessments or science-based targets.
- Manage data collection efforts for Scope 3 emissions, delivering polished client-ready workbooks and presentations.
- Create methodology documentation for both internal and external audit purposes.
- Act as a Sustainability Advisor:
- Engage in client meetings, providing support for ongoing sustainability initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for organizational and process improvements to ensure clients' future success.
- Propose additional support avenues and highlight upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Development:
- Contribute innovative ideas and industry insights to the Product team.
- Provide valuable perspectives on client needs to prioritize feature development.
- Participate in co-creation workshops with Product Managers and Designers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consulting, corporate sustainability, or related fields.
- Experience in compliance report writing, including TCFD, CDP, GRI, and SASB.
- Familiarity with EU Taxonomy and CSRD.
- Experience in conducting Scope 3 emissions calculations and double materiality assessments.
- Client-facing experience is essential.
- Bonus: Familiarity with the software startup ecosystem.
