About ESG Flo

ESG Flo is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Consultant with over 2 years of expertise in ESG Reporting, particularly with a focus on CSRD compliance. This role involves collaborating with our Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to spearhead ESG initiatives, including CSRD gap evaluations and the creation of CSRD-compliant reports. You will also contribute to the design of features for our SaaS platform and serve as a sustainability advisor for our clients.

At ESG Flo, we aim to simplify the process of ESG data collection and reporting, making it efficient and engaging. We empower sustainability teams to concentrate on generating impactful results in Environmental, Social, and Governance areas, rather than being overwhelmed by reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Consulting Engagements
  • Facilitate workshops and assist clients in navigating their compliance journey towards CSRD, including drafting reports when necessary.
  • Conduct workshops, analyze survey data, and perform interviews to produce double materiality assessments or establish science-based targets.
  • Oversee data collection efforts for Scope 3 emissions, delivering polished client-ready workbooks and presentations.
  • Develop methodology documentation for both internal and external audit requirements.
  1. Act as a Sustainability Advisor
  • Engage in client meetings to support their ongoing sustainability projects.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational and procedural enhancements to ensure client success.
  • Propose additional support options from ESG Flo and highlight potential upsell opportunities.
  1. Collaborate with Product Development
  • Provide the Product team with innovative ideas and insights from the industry.
  • Contribute to prioritizing features based on client needs and industry trends.
  • Participate in co-creation workshops with Product Managers and Designers.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consulting, corporate sustainability, or related fields.
  • Proficient in compliance report writing, including TCFD, CDP, GRI, and SASB.
  • Familiarity with EU Taxonomy and CSRD.
  • Experience in conducting Scope 3 emissions calculations and double materiality assessments.
  • Client-facing experience is essential.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of the software startup ecosystem.
