Job Title: Senior Marine Structural Engineer

Babcock International Group is a leading provider of complex engineering services, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in the design and development of marine solutions.

As a Senior Marine Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for authoring, reviewing, and substantiating marine designs through calculations, simulations, commissioning, and diagnostic test support. You'll contribute to and lead product development throughout the design lifecycle, providing technical support to our key customers and ensuring efficient and effective delivery of engineering outputs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Substantiation reports/designs for installation solutions;
  • Preparation and production of substantiation reports for marine solutions throughout the entire design lifecycle phases (Concept, Basic, Functional, Detail, Manufacturing, Installation, and Decommissioning), in line with recognised standards and to the required time, cost, and quality requirements;
  • Developing innovative design solutions with robust engineering substantiation;
  • Providing solutions to manufacturing and installation issues by assisting in the resolution of technical and production queries;
