Job Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business growth initiatives in the UK social care sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase market share, generate employment opportunities, and promote our client services in the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community stakeholders, including businesses, organizations, and individuals.
  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve enquiry generation objectives and increase market share.
  • Design and deliver innovative marketing approaches to increase awareness of Home Instead's client services and employment opportunities.
  • Research and plan community marketing events, including fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment events.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Home Instead brand and raise awareness of national office marketing campaigns and recruitment initiatives.
  • Track and record enquiries, using data to manage and adjust strategy to optimize messaging and education in the community.
  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the business maintains an excellent reputation for delivery of high-quality services and support to the community.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships within a local community to achieve business objectives.
  • Good understanding of marketing principles, including digital and social media marketing.
  • Experience of leading and motivating a team to achieve targets.
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite and virtual communication platforms.
  • Experience of using data and analytics to make informed business choices.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
