About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch). As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and infrastructure to support our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based systems and infrastructure to support our customers' needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud-based systems and infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to ensure our customers receive the best possible service
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Experience with systems automation using BASH, Python, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
  • Exposure to cloud computing concepts and design considerations
  • Knowledge of configuration management systems, such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems
  • Experience with monitoring frameworks (such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Elastic or similar)
