About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Route 53 DNS Services team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating our cloud infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new services to meet the evolving needs of our customers
  • Use your Linux and networking skills to troubleshoot and innovate fixes and workarounds
  • Investigate and root cause customer issues
  • Consult with top engineers at Amazon to drive cross-organization initiatives
  • Implement automation to scale operational efficiencies

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Experience with systems automation using BASH, Python, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
  • Good troubleshooting skills at all levels
