About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) team. As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and infrastructure for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based systems and infrastructure to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud services
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based automation scripts and tools
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and infrastructure
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Experience of systems automation using BASH, Python, Perl, etc
  • Experience of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to cloud computing concepts and design considerations
  • Knowledge of configuration management systems, such as: Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems
  • Experience of monitoring frameworks (such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Elastic or similar)
