Engineering Recruitment Specialist at TEC Partners

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines to join our client in a dynamic and expanding environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency throughout the shift, liaising with the Shift Engineer to resolve problem areas and optimize equipment performance.
  • Deliver sustainable preventive maintenance and an efficient reactive breakdown service on operational equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
  • Implement a comprehensive program of preventive and autonomous maintenance, leveraging expertise in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Respond to breakdowns as required by the shift team leader, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise to resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive and results-driven attitude towards all tasks, prioritizing efficiency and professionalism in all aspects of work.
  • Complete all tasks according to relevant work procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Communicate all relevant information to engineering team leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Perform additional tasks to support the efficient running of the engineering environment, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE Grade 4/C level or above, with a strong foundation in core disciplines.
  • Qualified in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with a strong understanding of the other, leveraging expertise to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Experience in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with a strong understanding of the other, with a proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with production equipment maintenance and refurbishment, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Shift Patterns:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6am - 2pm (Week 1)
  • 2pm - 10pm (Week 2)
