Artsy is seeking a highly motivated Art Sales Specialist to join its Secondary Market team. As a key member of this high-growth area, you will drive sales across Artsy's unique digital sales channels, including Artsy-Curated Auctions, private sales, and e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing: Identify and source high-demand supply from collectors, advisors, and dealers across multiple categories, providing a white-glove experience for sellers.
- Selling: Develop a robust collector network, driving a high volume of art sales transactions across all Artsy channels.
- Pipeline management: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new leads and outbound sales to negotiation and closing.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, including marketing, operations, legal, trust & safety, to maintain a high caliber of curated auctions.
- Property management: Authenticate, catalog, and price property.
- 5-10 years of professional experience selling art.
- Proven art sales track record, with existing collector relationships and a book of business.
- Ability to independently manage a 360-degree sales cycle.
- Diligence in using CRM systems and tools for pipeline management.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive solutions for selling art in non-traditional digital marketplaces.
- Resilience in working through unique challenges, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
