We are seeking a highly skilled Field Sales Representative to join our General Medical Products team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our high-quality, innovative General Surgery medical device products portfolio.
Responsibilities:- Maximise sales and ensure market penetration with existing business and actively pursue new customers and develop new opportunities
- Maintain and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and physician customers
- Coordinate and implement local sales promotion activities
- Gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert
- Attend international and regional trade fairs and congresses
- Partner closely with the UK Sales Leader, Regional Product Specialists, and Regional Strategic Marketers to achieve the annual revenue forecast
- Support new product introduction and local marketing initiatives
- Provide clinical product education and training, as well as regular involvement in the Operating Room
- Apply a solid knowledge of business fundamentals and hospital organisations to assist in dealings with public and private hospital administrations and their purchasing departments
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a medical device Field Sales representative, preferably with a medical engineering or clinical background in the interventional Hernia and Bariatric environment
Ideal degree educated in a science, technical, or clinical discipline
Passionate about clinical sales
Extensive commercial skills enabling effective presentation and negotiation
Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organised
Able to analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies, and actions
Flexible work ethic, reacting to customer requirements
A team-player, naturally interacting with other associates across Europe on a regular basis
Willingness to undertake extensive travel within the UK and internationally
