About the Role

QinetiQ Limited is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in supporting the delivery of maritime-based projects in our facilities. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing instrumentation support to our facilities and other teams, leading instrumentation tasks and activities, and ensuring the timely delivery of instrumentation support for trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide instrumentation support to our facilities and other teams
  • Lead instrumentation tasks and activities
  • Support technical assurance activities for work undertaken by the instrumentation team
  • Support the maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment
  • Deliver the strategy for developing and maintaining instrumentation and software used within the model testing capability
  • Liaise with other teams to ensure the timely delivery of instrumentation support for trials
  • Manage and deliver the design, build, and testing of bespoke instrumentation equipment

Requirements

  • Experience in instrumentation engineering
  • HND/HNC level qualifications are desirable, but experience is more important
