At QinetiQ, we are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our technical team. This role will involve working within the Instrumentation team to support the delivery of maritime-based projects in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing instrumentation support to our facilities, leading instrumentation tasks and activities
  • Supporting technical assurance activities for work undertaken by the instrumentation team
  • Maintaining electrical & electronic equipment
  • Developing and maintaining instrumentation and software used within the model testing capability
  • Liaising with other teams to ensure timely delivery of instrumentation support for trials
  • Managing and delivering bespoke instrumentation equipment design, build, and testing

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based at our Haslar site with hybrid working available.

Essential qualifications include experience in Instrumentation Engineering, with HND/HND level qualifications desirable but not essential.
