Job Title: Apprentice C&I Engineer

QinetiQ is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Instrumentation team as an Apprentice C&I Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of maritime-based projects in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instrumentation support to our facilities and other locations used by the team, leading instrumentation tasks and activities.
  • Support technical assurance activities for work undertaken by the instrumentation team for production and facilities.
  • Support the maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Develop and maintain the instrumentation and software used within the model testing capability.
  • Manage and deliver the design, build, and testing of bespoke instrumentation equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience in instrumentation engineering is essential.
  • Ability to work remotely up to 2 times a week.
