Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively carry out a variety of maintenance activities, adhering to current procedures and approved source information.

• Contribute to team delivery of agreed targets and goals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

• Comply with current Tool Control procedure and attend team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.

• Carry out Improving Quality and Continuous Quality Improvement reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.

• Support a climate of continuous improvement, assisting productivity, quality, and lean methodology.

• Undertake work to the highest level of competence, mentoring and training apprentices as required.

Competencies:

• Team worker with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to provide advice as a subject matter expert and actively participate in continuous improvement activities.

Organisational Relationships:

Reports directly to the Front-Line Manager, working collaboratively to achieve team goals.

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:

Essential qualifications include a recognised indentured apprenticeship or military equivalent, Human Factors, and experience working with Drawings and approved source information.

Desirable qualifications include a suitable engineering qualification in Aerospace/Electrical Engineering, previous experience of independent inspections, and Cat B or Certifier authorisations.

Previous experience within a Base maintenance Electrical environment is an advantage, but not essential.
