Job Title: EC&I Maintenance Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Oil and Pipelines Agency (OPA) is seeking an experienced EC&I Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance activities of our Instrumentation and Electrical systems across our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of EC&I technicians to ensure the maintenance and inspection of Instrumentation and Electrical systems are executed on time and in full compliance with company standards and UK/European legislation.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
  • Collaborate with the Instrument & Electrical Superintendent to ensure the development and periodic review of management of safety instrumented systems and procedures.
  • Conduct audits on Instrumentation and Electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with internal / external standards and maintain audit readiness.
  • Identify and initiate Management of Change processes where there is a change to procedures, plant & equipment, people, or substances.

Requirements:

Candidates must have completed a recognised Engineering Craft / Technician discipline apprenticeship around Electrical or Control & Instrumentation or equivalent. In addition, a minimum technical qualification of ONC / HNC in a relevant subject combined with 5 years post apprenticeship industry experience being required.
