About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our technical team at QinetiQ. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of maritime-based projects in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide instrumentation support to our facilities and other team-used facilities through leading instrumentation tasks and activities.
  • Support technical assurance activities for work undertaken by the instrumentation team for production and facilities.
  • Support the maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Develop and maintain the instrumentation and software used within the model testing capability.
  • Liaise with other delivery team members to ensure timely delivery of instrumentation support for trials.
  • Manage and deliver the design, build, and testing of bespoke instrumentation equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience in Instrumentation Engineering is essential.
  • HND/HNC level qualifications are desirable, but experience is more important.
