Job Summary:

Quarsh | B Corp Certified is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the Marine industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing dealer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving business growth in the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealer Management: Visit multiple marine dealers each day, planning and coordinating routes effectively to minimize traveling time. Build strong relationships with dealers, discussing their requirements, and promoting new products to gain additional sales and campaigns.
  • New Business Development: Seek out new opportunities with boat builders to grow the marine business and create new partnerships. Identify and pursue new sales leads, and develop strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create weekly reports on our client and the marine market, following up on report outcomes with necessary actions. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Networking and Communication: Actively network to identify open points and opportunities for our client's marine business, further expanding our client's market and closing any open points. Present findings in area vision meetings and attend regular sales meetings at our client's head office to review marine business strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the marine industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the marine industry and market trends.
