Main Responsibilities
  • Performance and Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve retail sales targets while maintaining brand integrity.
    • Analyze and interpret sales data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
    • Manage the field budget, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving financial goals.
    • Provide timely and accurate sales reports to headquarters, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the National Sales and Education Manager to share best practices and drive sales growth.
  • People Development and Education:
    • Select, coach, and motivate a high-performing retail team to deliver exceptional results.
    • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new team members, ensuring a seamless transition into the role.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and annual appraisals, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
    • Lead regular team meetings to ensure the retail team understands and is equipped to deliver brand and retailer plans.
    • Support and develop store managers to drive sales, achieve targets, and manage their teams.
    • Ensure all commercial training for in-store teams is delivered to the highest standard.
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of and passion for Artistry in an Artistry brand.
  • Other:
    • Build strong partnerships with store management, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
    • Stay up-to-date on competitor activity and its impact on sales, providing insights to the National Sales and Education Manager.
    • Demonstrate agility and flexibility in working across multiple brands and categories.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a multi-site sales team within the cosmetics industry.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to drive business performance.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of managers, identifying and developing talent.
  • Experience in delivering business projects to improve ways of working.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Full clean driving license.
