Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Assistant** to support the educational journey of young learners. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 5 years. The position requires full-time commitment during school hours, adhering to term time schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with EYFS educators to provide exceptional early childhood education.
  • Facilitate the growth and learning of children in the foundational years.
  • Establish a safe, supportive, and interactive atmosphere for children.
  • Encourage participation in activities that enhance physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of educational resources and materials.
  • Monitor and record children's development and behavior.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Possess a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  • Successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Exhibit patience and empathy when engaging with young children.

Compensation details include a 12.07% statutory holiday pay component. This position is temporary, with potential opportunities for permanence in the future.
