Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Eddington Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, supporting our nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the nursery team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and encouraging their development towards key milestones.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding, adhering to our company's policies and procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment, working closely with colleagues to achieve this goal.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Childminder, or similar.
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child, with a sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults, and to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
