About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Little DISCoveries Nursery and Preschool. As an Early Years Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children, aged from birth to five years old.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our nursery team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities and play-based learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring open communication and a sense of community.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our nursery's curriculum, ensuring it is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for future learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
